The 16 Dreamer Types
Four questions about how you dream. Two answers each. Sixteen ways to spend a night.
A dreamer type is a four-letter code, and every letter answers one question. The first is how much you steer: Lucid dreamers take the wheel, Wandering dreamers ride the current wherever it flows. The second is where it all takes place: Celestial dreams build impossible worlds, Earthbound dreams remix real life, slightly wrong. The third is how loud it gets: Vivid nights are technicolor and high-stakes, Misty ones are soft, hazy, more feeling than film. The fourth is how much survives the alarm: Anchored dreams follow you into the day, Fleeting ones dissolve like fog.
None of the sixteen is the good one. They are descriptions, not scores, and they are here for reflection and entertainment, not medical or psychological advice.

Common questions
What is a dreamer type?
A four-letter code describing the shape of a typical night for you: how much you steer, where your dreams are set, how loud they get, and how much you still have by morning. It is a description of a habit, written to be enjoyable to read and to share, not a category you belong to.
Is this the same as a personality test?
No. It borrows the four-letter shape because that format is easy to compare with friends, but it is not a psychological instrument and has not been validated as one. Somni's dreamer types are for reflection and entertainment, not medical or psychological advice, and they do not diagnose or predict anything.
Can my dreamer type change over time?
Yes. The quiz reports the answers you give on the day you take it, so answering differently gives a different code. Sleep, stress and how much you happen to remember all move around, so getting a different type months later is entirely ordinary rather than a sign that one of the results was wrong.
What do the four letters mean?
The first letter is how much you steer: L for Lucid, W for Wandering. The second is where dreams are set: C for Celestial, E for Earthbound. The third is how intense they are: V for Vivid, M for Misty. The fourth is how much survives the alarm: A for Anchored, F for Fleeting. Each axis has its own page if you want the long version.
Is any of the 16 better than the others?
No. None of the sixteen is the good one and there is no ranking behind them. They are descriptions of different nights, not scores.
